I guess she's in the spotty mood.
This weekend was very special: Manouk had her first stayover friend. I had prepared myself weeks before for these 20 hours of "noise". See, S. and Manouk are just very verbal, and very noisy. Little spitfires. Put them together and you'll go through a box of earplugs in order to keep sane.
It went well, better than expected (I expected the worse actually...). And it never ceased to amaze me how 2 girls play together - I mean really together - with words, conversation and a whole story, compared to my guys. Boys do play together too, but well, let say, it's much more physical. They also talk much less. Or they do but it's completely different.
Anyway, after the boys played hockey (exciting match won 5-4 in the last minute), that Manouk went to swimming lesson, came S. with a suitcase so big I thought she was moving in (and thought...Oh MY.....). She's great but well there is a reason I stayed at 3 kids. I could not handle 4 (not easily anyway!).
What happened after that, is a blur..LOL. I know Manouk had to be reminded not to be so bossy. Why oh why, does DH says she looks like me??? Finally they went to bed, it felt like the hour after a storm...Too silent and too clam, weird. It all started again at 7:00 the next morning.
But I laughed a lot, watching them talking non-stop. I listened and listened because it was just so funny.
After S. left, Manouk was kind of exhausted (wonder why) and I left her with her father whilst I cycled to town with the 2 boys for some deserved quiet time...
She looks like an easter egg!
I think they were in bad for over 1 hour!!
My 3...Ok I need to say, I put them there...They were jumping around of course!!!
